Casualty & Cyber Liability

David Porter

David has recently joined Miller as an Account Executive in the Bermuda office, with a focus on US casualty and cyber business.

Joining us from Ed Broking, David has a wealth of cross class experience from nearly 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry as an underwriter and broker having previously managed portfolios of complex construction and energy risks. He now specialises in casualty, cyber, construction and energy risks with a North American focus.

In his spare time, David enjoys travelling, cooking, going to the gym, watching live sporting events, and spending time with his family and dogs.

Terrorism & Political Violence

James Floyd

James has recently joined Miller’s Terrorism & Political Violence team with a primary focus on North American clients.

James specialises in terrorism and wider political violence insurance, alongside active assailant cover.

Before joining Miller, James led the US crisis management team for Gallagher, and prior to that, worked for a reinsurance broker focusing on terrorism and property facultative insurance.

In his spare time, James enjoys all kinds of sport and is a keen golfer.

North American Property & Transportation

James Edwards

James has recently joined Miller’s Delegated Authorities North American Property & Transportation team, with a primary focus on transportation business.

With seven years' industry experience, James began his insurance career at a Lloyd's wholesale broker before moving to his most recent role at Ramon International Insurance Brokers to help build out their international team, specialising in North American motor business.

In his spare time, James enjoys playing and watching football and golf.

Delegated Authorities

Tom Godfrey

Tom has recently joined Miller’s Delegated Authorities team. His expertise lies in Canadian business with a particular focus on general liability, placing risks for industries including trucking, sports & recreation, and construction to name a few.

With eight years' experience, Tom began his career in private clients and high net worth business and has held positions within a number of Lloyd’s insurance brokers, most recently at Price Forbes, before joining Miller.

In his spare time, Tom is a big sports fan and enjoys watching football.
